Subject	Woth replacing a turbo?

Message	Hi guys. As you can see I'm new to this forum. My brother has been interested in ZXs for awhile and was always keen for me to get into them but I was never interested, untill now that I'm actually looking to buy my first decent car and of course hes moved out so Im on my own with a few questions... I'm looking at getting Nissan 300zx fairlady TT 1989. Everythign about it is good, but theres a problem with the turbo. When I rang him he said it had been smoking, but it has stopped but he hadn't boost? Would it be worth it getting a new turbo/turbos and replacing the current ones? I was told it might be a better idea to just get another one, but the one I'm looking at looks original and alot better than any others I've seen. Thanks for any help =]
